TROUBLESHOOTING

INITIAL START-UP PROCEDURE

Dash lamp does not blink, comes on

and remains illuminated?

Is dash lamp illuminated?

Turn ignition ON and observe dash

antilock condition lamp.

Note: If brakes are applied when

ignition is turned on, a short

exhaust of air will be heard at front

and rear modulators.

Go to Section I

“Dash Lamp Testing”

YES

YES

NO

Dash lamp remains on?

NO

Go to Section III

“Inspection for

illuminated LEDs”

YES

NO

The system is functioning normally.

Make notes of the parts replaced or repaired

and steps taken.

AMBER STATUS LAMP

BLINKS ONCE,

THEN GOES OUT:

SYSTEM - OK

AMBER DASH LAMP OFF:

SYSTEM - OK

Dash lamp comes on, flashes and stays on.

Increase vehicle speed to above 10 mph for at

least 30 seconds and observe the dash lamp.

Go to Section II

“Inspection for Illuminated

LEDs”
